Times Table Challenge
We all know how much easier it is to remember things when they are set to music-just think about how many songs we can sing along to in the car, at karaoke, or even when we think we are alone! With this in mind, we are excited to introduce times table songs to support student learning.
Learning times tables can sometimes be challenging, however research shows that developing strong automatic recall is essential for success in mathematics. These fun and engaging songs have been designed to help students embed their times tables into long-term memory, making maths feel easier and more enjoyable.
We have included a wide range of songs covering times tables up to 12. Each times table has two versions available—one with the answers and one without—so students can practise and then test their recall.
Teachers will also be using these songs during class time to reinforce learning through repetition and enjoyment.
With regular practice using these catchy tunes, students will be well supported in working towards earning their times tables discs that are presented at assembly.
