The school and individual classes occasionally identify an educational activity that needs to occur offsite. Examples of these include swimming lessons and carnival, interschool athletics and sports, SciTech and camps.
Notification is sent to all parents with the details of the activity, risk management procedures, cost and travel.
Permission is needed for all offsite activities and parents will need to complete the necessary notes for their child to attend. All of our information and permissions are sent out through our online platform – Szap and permission forms can be signed digitally.
Current medical information in our system is used for each child so it is important that your child’s medical needs are current.
Incursions are activities that occur at the school but need permission form parents for children to attend. Some of these may incur a cost. Examples of these may be EduDance, skipping workshops, Pillowcase Project etc.
Individual notes are not usually sent home unless a cost is incurred. If you do not want your child to be involved in a particular incursion with no cost, it is usually an opt- out system.
