Room 2 and Room 3 had a wonderful time celebrating 100 Days of School with a day full of fun, creativity and activities all centred around the number 100!
Students came dressed in specially decorated shirts featuring 100 things and kicked off the celebrations by completing 10 different actions 10 times each, moving their bodies a total of 100 times.
The fun continued outdoors in our Nature Play area, where students worked with partners to hunt for the numbers 1–100 hidden throughout the space. Each time they found a number, they coloured it on their 100 charts until they had completed the challenge.
Students then mixed between Room 2 and Room 3 to enjoy a range of special activities. In Room 2, they made delicious fairy bread with 100’s & Thousands, designed crazy monsters with 100 monster parts and created colourful 100 Days of School rainbows.
In Room 3, students imagined what life might be like when they are 100 years old through a fun writing activity, created their own grandma or grandpa pictures and completed a colouring challenge featuring 100 different things.
It was a fantastic celebration of how much our students have learned, grown and achieved during their first 100 days of school. Congratulations Room 2 and Room 3 on reaching this very special milestone!
